Sometimes, I feel like people take things the wrong way, or just misunderstand what's really going on. And it's not just that I think that, it's that it's actually true. People do take things the wrong way. There are lots of misunderstandings. These things cause problems, and we would be better off if people would stop taking things the wrong way, or misunderstanding them. And then, I remember something a little-known holy man once said.

I'm looking at the man in the mirror. I'm asking him to change his ways. And no message could've been any clearer. If you want to make the world a better place, take a look at yourself and then make that change.

This isn't my best portrait piece, but I'm still happy with it.

Liz's family is pretty awesome, and it's really cool that her parents are still together. Growing up, I never had very many friends whose parents were together, and those that were, frequently got divorced. I don't know what it is, but there's something cool about parents staying together.

You hear that, Mom and Dad? You guys rule.

In the past 30 days, I've had 666 views on my comic. That's pretty cool.

My apologies for yesterday. I thought I'd try my left hand at drawing. It didn't go well.

Before drawing this panel, I was sitting at my "drawing table" and saw the bug flying around. It landed on its back on my table, and began struggling to flip over. I put my finger next to it for it to grab onto and flip over, which it promptly did. As it crawled on my finger, I brought it up closer to the light. Liz, who was laying in bed "trying to sleep", let out a little laugh at that point.
"Are you watching me," I asked her.
She chuckled a little and said, "Yeah."
"Did you see what I was doing?"
"No," she said, so I explained to her what I was doing, in about the same way I just explained it. "I'm ruthless compared to you."
I chuckled a little, then looked at her and said, "It's not hard to be ruthless compared to me."
Then, after personifying a little bug and spending an embarrassingly long time drawing and scanning it in, I moved my sketchpad a little and it hit the bug, which wounded it, causing it to walk away with a limp.

I'm sure there's a joke in there, somewhere.

I'm extremely grateful for having the awesomest woman of all time as a girlfriend. Even though she was starving, she still spent a good half hour or more helping me calm down, right after getting work.

That's awesome.

Looks like, after going through the trouble of scanning and editing it, I forgot to post this last night.

If this is new to you, do a Google search for FFFFFFFUUUUUUU, or click here and let me do the "work" for you.

My head seriously hurts like balls and Christ.

Speaking of being a child, Bong Otter has ended its month-long hiatus. Check out Brandon's new comic there, and look for mine before too long.

And yet, I still manage to complain about stuff.

Someone should start a band named Bodacious Elements.

I've had a lot on my mind today. The majority of it has been regarding my character, my worth as a human being, and my ability to properly perform the daily duties of my life. I get really neurotic and introspective quite often, and I see dozens of things that I desire to change in myself (sometimes worrying that others see these traits in me).

I just hope I'm doing something right on this planet, because I frequently feel like I don't know how to do anything right.

If I had a kid, I would lie to you and say that my kid drew this.

I'm tempted to say it, anyway.

I wanted there to be more to this drawing, but SJO really doesn't have much of a chance to have a panel with meticulous planning, and that's sort of what I wanted to go into it. I am, however, still pleased with the result.

In other news, Tony Shenton (who I suppose should be referred to as my "industry rep", or something of that nature) recently created a Tumblr account. If you're interested in ordering anything from him, check it out!

I drew this one way earlier than normal and was so excited to be able to go to sleep that I forgot to post it until now.
