Sometimes, I feel like my comic must be really boring to other people. "Today I did this. Today I did that." A lot of the stuff I do, everyone reading this probably does. That's how life is. Not every day is eventful, though it can still be the "uneventful" ones that are the best, at times. Of course, in an autobiographical comic, there are going to be some days that are more fun to read about than others.

This has set me to thinking about how awesome it would be if I just made shit up all of the time. Like if Screw Jeff Owens were about how I'm really an alien and I return to my home planet every single Earth day (not to be confused with the holiday) for a week of time on my home planet, Valthazorr, and no one ever notices I'm gone, because when I'm on Valthazorr, time moves at such a rate that it is as though time on your planet, Earth, is at a stop. I could write and draw about all of my wacky alien adventures, except, all of you would really be the aliens, to me, a Valthazigan.

But, you know, you're stuck with me. Wait...you're not stuck! You're choosing to read this! You guys rule.

I'm sure a couple people noticed I was gone. I think the last few panels do a good job of describing why I didn't feel like going through the hassle of posting this stuff after drawing it.

It's good to be back, though! I've now eaten twice today and am almost at 100%. I'm guessing that when I wake up tomorrow, I'll be feeling a whole lot better.

If it hadn't killed me, it damn sure would have hospitalized me and broken multiple bones, I would imagine. Close call.

I'm going to try to finish "Prometheus Rising" before I sleep, but I've got 80 pages left and it's 1AM, so it probably won't happen, because I'm turning into an old man and it's stupid. I've been watching the series "A Haunting". The episodes are pretty spooky, and I think it's because some of them seem realistic. Sure, that's probably because my version of reality is pretty open, but it still is that way for me.

I really need to get these issues of SJO printed. I've done the covers for Dec-Feb, but I haven't written the interior material for any of them, which means I have one cover to draw, eight pages to write (which really isn't much), and hours of printing to do in the next three weeks.
