Some lines from the song:

"I don't need to be the king of the world,
as long as I'm the hero of this little girl.
Heaven isn't too far away.
Closer to it every day.
No matter what your friends say
,
we'll find a way."

See, you think it's this nice song, but really, it's just the next logical Buttrock step from Winger's "Seventeen". You know, the one that says, "She's only seventeen. Daddy says she's too young, but she's old enough for me."

Actually, when I think about it, it seems like Winger's song would take place after Warrant's song, as "Heaven" gives me the impression of him singing about a girl who is, say, fifteen, which is frankly shocking from such a fine gentleman as ex-Warrant lead singer, Jani Lane.

Okay, well, I have better things to do with my time than look for hilarious pictures of Jani Lane (however easy they may be to find). Like sleep.

I got the last S.M. sticker at Eastside while exchanging details of barely known Punk with Mike Pulicki.
That and the latest MAXIMUMROCKNROLL made my day.
